Florence Nightingale is the Founder of Modern Nursing. She made rounds to care for wounded Soldiers at night and used a lamp as a tool to be able to see and help others.
The Lady with the Lamp Corporation
The Lady with the Lamp Corporation was formed for the charitable purpose of providing support to nursing students in the Philippines to help them achieve their goals of becoming licensed healthcare professionals.
The nonprofit will provide grants for education or exam fees and assistance to find employment in the United States.

The charitable organization aims to address the staffing shortages and ease any burdens for nurses through a multifaceted approach including but not limited to recruitment and retention strategies, educational enhancements, and financial assistance.
The Nonprofit will focus on supporting nursing students in the Philippines by offering scholarships and grants for exam fees, school supplies, and other basic needs. In addition the Nonprofit will open a recruitment agency in the Philippines to provide information and assistance for immigration applications and costs to come to the United States and find employment.
